El Vicerrectorado de Cultura y Sociedad le informa de la siguiente
actividad: Acting Workshop in English: The American Dream.

Students will explore traditional acting techniques and exercises as
applied to public speaking in English. They will participate in group and
individual acting exercises. Students will practice acting methodologies,
to improve speech and presentation. They will learn the art of character
development and storytelling for the purpose of practicing acting in
English. They will consider American pop culture in theatre, film and
media; its influences and differences. Students will practice and present,
dramatic text from theatre or film, for a final project.

TEACHER:
Christa Mountain is a professional American actress, teacher, director for
35 years,,with a Master of Fine Arts Degree from The Actors Studio in New
York City. She owns her own company, See Mountain Productions, training
international actors, privately via Skype and teaching classes and
workshops, both in the US and Europe. She has coached film, theatre and
taught workshops in Gran Canaria for 4 years and is currently creating and
directing, her own original spectacle,¿The Women¿s Project¿, about the
lives of women artists, as a cultural exchange, in Gran Canaria.
